Funeral services for Jerry Dujka, 84, of East Bernard, was held Jan. 10 at Knesek and Sons Funeral Home in Wallis. Interment followed in Krasna Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Otto, John Dujka, Mark Dujka, Jay Dujka, Danny Dujka and Lonnie Bures.

Syble S. Miller

Syble S. Miller, 67, of Wallis passed away Dec. 19, 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years John T. Miller, Sr.; son John T. Miller Jr. and wife Melanie; daughter Debbie Heckmann and husband Louis; grandchildren Thomas and Elizabeth Miller, Anna, Heather, Louis, Jr. and Kaley Heckmann, and great-grandson Kade Vasquez.

A funeral service for Cecilia Marie Tauriello, 89, was held on Dec. 21 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Houston. A rosary with friends and family was held on Dec. 20 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Following the funeral, interment was in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.

John J. Witzkoski

A funeral mass for John J. Witzkoski, 87, of Rosenberg was held Friday, Nov. 6 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with Fr. William D. Bartniski officiating. Interment with military honors followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Visitation with a Rosary recited was on Thursday, Nov. 5 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.

A funeral mass for Christopher Gonzales, 25, of Wallis, will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 30 at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Rev. Thuy Nguyen officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12 to 2 p.m. with mass at 2 p.m. Following mass, burial will be at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Milligan, Darren Hall, Pablo Aguilar, Daniel Martinez, Preston Prado, Joe Leivas, James Garcia and David Mayo.

Funeral Services for Debra Lynn Machala (Debbie), 33, of Wallis, were held Tuesday, Oct. 27 from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with Rev. Eric Pitre officiating. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Sealy. Pallbearers were Wayne Machala, Mark Machala, Tommy Machala, Royce Sulak, Chris Toman and David Machala. Honorary pallbearers were Anton C. Jalowy, Anton R. Jalowy and Bennie Svoboda Jr.

Burial followed in Frieden’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Beasley. Pallbearers were Louis Ray Engelhardt, Raymond Engelhardt Jr., Rudy Kuba, Roy Kasmir, Louis Heckmann Jr., and Garry Toman. Honorary pallbearers were Calvin Engelhardt and Gilbert Engelhardt.
